How to Apply Limits

Example: you can set a BTC price limit of 5 and a USDT limit of 100,000. If one BTC trades for 94,000 USDT, you’ll need 470,000 USDT to buy 5 BTC. 94,000 USDT is under the limit of 100,000, so the swap will be processed.However, if the price of one BTC suddenly rises to 110,000 USDT, you’ll need 550,000 USDT to buy the same 5 BTC.

110,000 USDT exceeds the hard limit of 100,000, so the swap will not be processed through your wallet, saving you the extra 80,000 USDT (550,000 – 470,000) you would have spent acquiring 5 BTC. In this case, you’ve protected yourself against volatile market conditions if the USDT-BTC exchange rate rises to 110,000 within a short period.
